Learned how to do it myself with clippers back in February. I feel like I have it done if I do say so myself. No complaints from the missus yet.

I've had 2 since the virus hit, due for another one any day now.
No haircuts, but I recently did a terrible job at trimming my beard for the first time this year??.
I can never trim mine worth a damn when it’s long. I usually keep a short beard, but I let it grow out for hunting season. When it gets long enough that the wife starts fussing I just take the guard off the clippers and buzz it off.
That long sprig on my left will drive me crazy until I cut it, but then the next day the right side will look longer! This will keep going until I finally say screw it and shave it off. Gf already wants to kill me for trimming it at all. More than once she's threatened to leave if I shave.... good to know I have a way out?.
A clipper tip for first timers is that going with the growth with an attached guard removes less length than going against.
I’m happily a 2x per week home clipper self cut guy. Good ‘ole Oster Model 10, with a 0A blade (1.2 mm). 3 minutes, tops. Easy-Peasy to do and live with. It takes longer to shave! 16 years now...
Great looking trimmer!? I upgraded from a Wahl Senior to a Magic Clip a few months ago and it's cut my trim time down to around five minutes.
