If my (remaining) hair was long enough for a Flowbee, I'd look like Bozo.
Last time, I ran the clippers down the middle for the Road Warriors-style reverse mohawk, but it scared the ol' lady.
That’s what I’d like to do, but the wifey gets pretty pissed if I go completely razor-bald. If I had it my way my head would look like .45 ball, but the clippers with no guard is our compromise.
Mine likes to pull my hair when it's long but says my bald head gives her a better grip.
like most men in my city i go to the Turkish barbers every three weeks where you get the following whether you ask for it or not.
Apple tea,Nos2 back and sides 3 on top,hot towel,ear hairs set on fire, eye brows trimmed,head, neck massage finished off with Turkish cologne massaged into the scalp.Then you pay the man half of what you paid twenty years ago when you went to the barbers.I haven't been back since they reopened as my wife does a fine job.
I fear they may come looking for me.

Yep, fairly common. When we had dedicated barber shops here years ago many did the same.

I used to shave my hair off with the new year, last time I did that I was single, and now I am married 13 years so hair is getting quite long. Every time my wife tells me to get my 'split ends done' I tell her to put the same money into a good pair of scissors and she can do it for me, even chop it all off if she feels like it. She always says she will, but we have a permanent cycle of procrastination going now so its hard to break I think.
Dang, I made a post with pictures and the whole shebang! Now, I can't find it. Errrrrgggg... In short... I am lucky to have a daughter who was scheduled to get her state boards for cosmetology done the day after they closed down our state, and they haven't started rescheduling yet... so she came by my place the other day and cut my hair on the back deck with lots of PPE stuff on. She is living on her own now, so... by the way, WE ARE EMPTY NESTERS NOW!!! So, I spend a lot of my time naked, around the house, in the garden, or hell... I have to check to see if I have pants on when we go for our walk around the block at night.
Its when the guy sticks it up your nose to get the nose hairs thats when it gets serious.Allways leave a good tip.

Whilst all this is going on the guy in the seat next to you is having a wet shave and the barber is using an open blade razor.it gets very tense.
My backyard is a forest, further in you go, the more optional clothing becomes.
And, we've told the kids that we turned their rooms into naked rooms, so they cannot move back... and now they call very carefully before coming over.
I often use straight razors myself. I've always loved going to a barber that did it. The hot towel, preshave oil, hot lather, and cool feel of the blade against my skin. I could easily compare it to one of my wife's spa days.
