I cringe when I see children with cell phones.Parents of younger kids can see this in action any day.
I hate texting and much prefer a phone conversation. Different strokes and all that.As I have gotten older, I have noticed that my practice of watching/reading/listening, etc. has changed. I have less tolerance for certain things and I will go through spells of just completely ignoring the news as it has gotten so polarizing and depressing.
Oh, and another thing is I absolutely despise talking on the phone. I like texting and email, but unless it is my wife or son, I will usually just let a phone call go to voicemail. Oh well.....
No. Never liked pissed on rocks. Nor snow. But heard the national park is great. Oh, few accidently fell off recently. Another social media casualties.Yellowstone is very good
I completely understand as many of my friends feel the same way and prefer the phone. You are correct.... different strokes.....I hate texting and much prefer a phone conversation. Different strokes and all that.
My preferences are specific. Some people get texts, some phone calls. With my two closest friends, both are used depending on the situation.I completely understand as many of my friends feel the same way and prefer the phone. You are correct.... different strokes.....
What turns me off of some phone usage is when the calls turn in to long, drawn out small talk discussions about trivial stuff. One of my old friends, who I believe should have been born in the 1800's and is probably the finest horseman I have ever known, will get on there and draw out old stories that he has told me a dozen times. I know where it is going, but I try to sound tickled each time. I wish he would learn to text, but no such luck.My preferences are specific. Some people get texts, some phone calls.
