I've got 3 briars and 4 cobs. My grandfathers recent passing has left me with twelve of his briar pipes, which need cleaned way further than my knowledge allows me to do. So after I get those up and running I will have more :)

forget it, foggy will never die, he will just move to a higher smoking station. And take his Dunhills with him.

Currently 4 cobs and 12 briars. All seem to be good smokers and in the active rotation. Wish I had time for more than a couple of pipes a day.

I think it was 142 at last count, but I've started thinning the herd. All my acquiring was done in the 1970s - 1980s. I started out as a real Caminetto/Ascorti fan, I have 18 of those. Next favorite is Elliot Nachwalter (from his early days), I think there are 11 of those. I like my 4 Upshalls, a Wilmer, and some Savinelli Autographs. Oh, and I loved the Lorenzo in the 80s too, they were almost cult for a while back then. I've just sold some Preben Holm/Ben Wade pieces, as I sort of lost a little interest in the flashy Danish Freehand styles. I recently started restoring a couple old Caminetto Business models that I can't remember how I acquired, but I found I enjoyed those projects, so maybe I'll start scouring the estate market for those propects and start picking a few up again. The problem in selling some of these off is that I'm getting "seller's remorse" now before I even click the "List It" button! Unfortunately, the wife knows what this stuff is worth and is rubbing her palms together greedily!

I never intended to acquire so many pipes. I smoked my first one for weeks...multiple x's a day. That was in May?..now I'm rotating 10 or 12, mostly briar, and have accumulated 30 or so...at least 10 unsmoked briar. Now I've got another 10 coming via a MM seconds bag! Th...th...that's all folks!

I feel inadequate in saying this but - only 2. A Stanwell and a Savinelli. But I'm only been at it for about 3 weeks. Already making excuses to get more!

Probably around 85. Each one is a family member and an old friend. Like so many others have mentioned, I've emphasized to my wife how valuable they are on the estate market. Otherwise I'm sure they would go in the trash.
