I have a patio heater that helps tremendously, but it's not magic. It won't make up for freezing temperatures, and it's useless in the wind.
For what it's worth, I smoke inside regularly and the smell only lingers in the air for about half a day, if that. It doesn't seem to cling to walls/clothes/furniture like cigarette smoke would. But I also go my wife to agree to let me smoke in the basement on a "trial basis". She doesn't mind the smoke, per say, but we both dislike the idea of the smoke permeating EVERYTHING.
I just came in from sitting in my car for a smoke. It's also -7 C and a windchill of -17. That breeze is brutal and not something to be standing around in smoking a pipe. It’s -7C right now, 62kph gusts making it feel like -17. I’d say its too cold but I am contemplating lighting up if the wind eases
Fully agree - my colleague who is a seasoned smoker could not finish his cigarette. I guess this answers the question and is too cold.I just came in from sitting in my car for a smoke. I can be only dream.Life is good when you have a dedicated smoking room/den .
Pipe and cigarettes are allowed inside, but cigars are not?50's out there now... It's too cold to go out and smoke a cigar for 2 hours. Smoking a cigar this afternoon was my plan, but screw that.
I'll stay inside and keep on with the cigarettes and my pipe for the day.
I lost the war about cigars inside... It waged on for years and I lost. At least the war is over.
Pipe and cigarettes are allowed inside, but cigars are not?
Treaty? Reparations? Bribery? Inquiring minds want to know!At least the war is over.
