Holly's Non Plus Ultra is reported to be an aromatic with a bit of N. I double dare you to try it.
Is that the same as Wallace Flake? If so I already have a tin...Oh, and University Flake! Nice nic and plenty aromatic. To much for me, actually.
Haha I have avoided it as of yet. I’ve heard its quite weird.Holly's Non Plus Ultra is reported to be an aromatic with a bit of N. I double dare you to try it.
Almost. Wallace is the KK version of it. Very similar, but not identical. Is that the same as Wallace Flake? If so I already have a tin...
Copy. Any preference between the two? The Pete I take it?Almost. Wallace is the KK version of it. Very similar, but not identical.
No preference really, but the Pete's easier to find.Copy. Any preference between the two? The Pete I take it?
Im sure it is, but ive already got the wallace so ill give it a go. Thanks! No preference really, but the Pete's easier to find.
I’ve got a tin! I’ll pop it soon!If Erinmore Flake counts as an aromatic that would be my vote of what I’ve tried so far. Bonus points for tasting absolutely declicious on top of the nic.
Almost bought some firedance the other day. May have to revisit that decision.G&H Kentucky Nougat has a decent amount of nicotine and tastes more like an American aro than a Lakeland.. just with better quality leaf and a Stoved VA Cavendish instead of burley. I love SG Firedance Flake the most but it is a bit more Lakeland-ish.. not soapy but like a scented candle. Niconactastic
Done that one more than once, and it does indeed work!A pinch of Five Brothers will add some nic to any aromatic without really affecting the taste.
Yeh, the new version doesn't have that distinctive strong nose burning urinal cake tin note that the older version had, and it is way lower in nicotine. I too fell in love with the flavor and the strength, now it is even pointless to try it to get a notion of what it was, because it is nothing like it was.Havent tried any Erinmore lately, when i heard that it wasnt going to be made any more, back in the oughts i bought all the square cans my local B&M had. Turned out production was continued but it never seemed to me to equal the original in topping. Its a butt kicker if you arent used to high nic tobaccos.
Yeah i agree it transcended the aro designation, just by virtue of being a great tobacco under the topping and a nice dry smoke.I don't consider Erinmore as being an aromatic in the proper sense of the word, rather I'd call it as semi-aromatic similarly to St Bruno , Condor Long Cut,or Amphora Full Red but all these aforementioned might satisfy your need in good tobacco with a satisfying nicotine content
That topping was really unique. I could never really nail down the flavor, pineapple? apricot? mango? Anyway possibly the best aro i ever smoked.Yeh, the new version doesn't have that distinctive strong nose burning urinal cake tin note that the older version had, and it is way lower in nicotine. Condor is the same, nothing like it used to be.
