Welcome from France

When I have typical aromatic tobacco Indo not hesitate to spread it out on a tray and let it dry for a few hours. Aromatic tobacco is typically drenched. It will still taste good but you wont struggle so much to keep it lit. Also it will bite your tongue less.

Constantly relighting will burn you. Think about it. You are sucking in fire!

Kincardine O'Neil, between Banchory and Aboyne. We'd come into town most weekends for Marks & Spencer, Union Square, and frequent fish and chips at the Ashvale! What part of the city is home for you?

And P.S., Tennessee is beautiful, green hills and lots of waterways.
Hi David my husband is from Kincardine O’ Neil… his father was the Upholsterer across from the pub. My husband is 55.

A hearty welcome from a fellow newbie here in England 😊🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

I started using 9mm filters when first starting out back in August...after a few smokes I tried without. IMHO, much improved!

I also tried one of the Joyoldelf pipes from Amazon...was ok, but my local tobacco & pipe specialist (in Otley Yorkshire www.smoke-king.co.uk ) let me have a Savinelli at a great price. Completely transformed my smoking experience :sher:

All the very best & keep on piping 😎

Welcome. I highly recommend ditching the filter. It's in no way a comparable experience. Greeting from London.
