I've now looked at the photos on a computer screen rather than on the cell phone. I do believe I do see a burn out. There may have a been a thin walled void there and you probably smoked it too hot. You can keep smoking the pipe until you have to throw it away. If you do, you might want to avoid puffing on it like a steam engine. Or, scrape the area clean and patch it with pipe mud. Pipe mud is ash (a cigar is a good source because it doesn't have dottle) and water. A Google search will bring up a lot of info.

Unfortunately I had some doubt and fear about it, after I read several article. Glad that it is clarified for me now.

I definetly going to think about repairing in this week. I have some time for it, 70 mph windy weather is not so pipe friendly anyway, if I'm correct :)
I think if you just remove the built up cake you’ll be fine. Cake can build up in ridges along the wall of the chamber, and while it might look ominous, it’s nothing to be worried about.

Sandpaper will smooth it out quickly. It helps to wrap the sandpaper around an object that’s similar size and profile of the chamber. A tool handle, finger, etc.

Try to keep the object perpendicular to the floor of the chamber so you don’t open the mouth of the chamber. A twisting motion with both the bowl and the object helps so that you don’t wear unevenly on the chamber wall. Light pressure- don’t bear down on it. Stop frequently and inspect the chamber.

Leave some carbon on the chamber, as it’s beneficial. The object is to thin the cake and smooth the interior chamber walls.

Finally had some time to fix the chamber. I scrapped cake where it was to much and evened out the surface of the chamber. The focus on my camera was unexpectedly finicky now. However manage to make shot good shot about the side.

I considered to fill the hole with pipe mud but since the damaging/degradation definetly stopped I think it will do fine for now. If it will get worse, I will do some more action :)

Really gratefull for all the comment and advice! :)

I'm curious what brand of pipe that is. If you're new at this you might want to try a corn cob cob. They are inexpensive but they're damn good. You should alternate between pipes anyway. Sorry to see you having an issue. Are you enjoying your new hobbie?

My pipe is a Hungarian Szabó pipe. Szabó Pipagyár - https://www.pipagyar.hu/?lang=en

It is quite available for almost everybody, only costed around 20$. I have read about corn cob pipes and made me really interested. Fortunately Missouri Meerschaum Company's pipes can be purchased locally too, heard good opinions about them.

And I really enjoy smoking pipes. Just have spent a whole day in the outdoor with it and with my friends :)

Could be crappy soft cake breaking apart, the kind that forms when people give advice like "shake the ash, then dump it and leave the ash on the walls" kind of crap suggestions.

Could be the beginnings of a burn out.

Either way, you can't tell until you reduce the existing cake to a bare film over the wood, Then you get to see what's what. If it turns out to be heat cracks or a burn through, those can be remedied. Go gently into that cake so that you don't accidentally gouge the wood. Toward the finish I'd put away the commercial reamers and go with glass paper wrapped around something similar in shape to a wide Pilot marking pen case. Then carefully remove more of the cake.

Just don't go looking for informed advice on YouTube. There is some there, but it's like Sturgeon's Law, 90% is crap.

Ok, sorry, I'm being kind, more like 99.9% pure crap.
