Thanks, will do!Welcome! East or West Village by chance?
Barclay Rex isn't too far away!
You can put your location in your Profile—(please!—because people will forget!) That will save questions in the future as to where you live when you later mention local stores, weather, tobacco prices, availability, regulations, location of photos, wildfires, air quality, etc., etc..
Under your avatar, (top right, left most of three symbols) you choose "Account Details", which brings up "My Account". "My Location" is halfway down. Whatever you're comfortable with- town, city, county, state. Just country if you must.
I ride a cafe racer on these streets! I love that tunnel! You haven't lived until (preferably as a passenger) you take that turn in front of Grand Central Station that takes you into a sort of basement tunnel that is like driving down a narrow hall and sends you out onto Park Avenue. Learning to drive in Manhattan is a whole separate learning curve from learning to drive in the first place. Let the New Yorker's drive. Take public transportation.
Thanks! I am planning on hosting some smoking get togethers in the lower east side soon! Ill make sure to post it here. Converted a couple of cigarette smokers recently!Welcome from upstate, near Saratoga. My wife and daughter are big Broadway fans so we get down to the city pretty often. Let me know if you want to have a pity party and commiserate over NY tobacco taxes sometime.
Check out the "New York Pipe Club" for other kindred spirits and additional brothers-of-the-briar. This fraternal group used to (pre COVID) meet in your neck of the woods, lower Manhattan, once a month, to shoot the breeze and to enjoy a few hours of smoldering camaraderie. Nice bunch of guys and a few gals, too.Pipe smoker from lower manhattan. Was a Nat Sherman customer since the 90s but they've closed; which is bad, but found there's a huge pipe community online; which is good!
I usually smoke a cob with a balkan, pure va, a vaper, or some Nat Sherman 509 manhattan twilight after a big meal.
