Although adopted by the US military the CZ75 platform has two weights of trigger pull.

So does the Colt New Service revolver platform.

The overwhelming advantage of the Glock platform is if you had to train millions of Wehrmacht boys like Gaston Glock and the Red Army and American and British and French armies were overrunning your concentration camps and liberating all the nations you conquered and you were afraid of Nuremberg coming to you, then it’s simple to hand all the Gastons a Glock and say

Here’s how to load it

Point it at the Allies

And shoot until it runs dry

Reload and keep shooting
No it's true there are a few other legacy designs that are technically DA/SA... I have a S&W 5906 too, but I should have specified, I'm more talking about something with a decocker that's a reasonable concealed carry size. Add in a polymer frame and hammerless and you basically get the P99 or nothing lol. I just wish there were more reasonable concealed carry designs with that action and I don't see why more people don't understand its benefits... Don't mind me, basically just yelling at the wind lol

Oh, a decocking CZ75 platform.

I’m retired, but young lawyers need the business.:)

See here Gaston? Flip that switch and pull the trigger to de cock the pistol. See?

And they’ll go well with my No. 1
One of my favorite deer hunting stories I had a part in featured a Ruger No. 1. It was about 30 years ago.

My cousin had moved to another state, but came back to Michigan for the rifle season. Instead of flying with his own rifle, he borrowed his step dad’s 30-06 Ruger No. 1 (a beautiful rifle, BTW). That morning I took a nice buck, and my cousin filled his antlerless tag. I was content with my buck, so that afternoon I spent my time making a big dinner for the guys and having a beer or 3. My cousin was out back with his friend who had joined us, and who had a smoothbore shotgun as his weapon. They were together walking from one stand to another, when they saw a doe about 100 yards away on the edge of a thick stand of cedars. They both said it would have been an easy shot, but the friend didn’t want to chance the slugs at that distance (I don’t blame him), so he let that one go. They told me this story when they got back to the cabin after dark. Pointing at my cousin I said, “why didn’t you just use his rifle?” They both just looked at each other and the friend said softly “oh, shit.”
