I have to say I'm with Michael on this. Seriously how many places give out $50 coupons? The couple mistakes I had were just poor packaging which they promptly replaced the dented tins.
Also I think H&H blends particularly their marquee series are some of the finest tobacco's I've ever smoked.

Did your coupons come into your spam box? If so, if I were sent one, it was deleted as is all spam mail at 0600 daily by a bot. Maybe I should rethink my system.

I'm having a problem figuring out what is mean by apple polisher? Is that a clever play on words since it is P&C, (PC v Apple)? Or am I just missing something altogether?

I would say the same of all of the companies that I've done pipe tobacco business with. But, more opportunities come up to say nice things about P&C because they have the small core of very vocal critics. Whether their opposition is warranted or not, they speak loudly and often. So... I've never had an issue with them. Great folks.

This is really starting to look like trolling. I can understand, you had a bad experience with this company. But, it's starting to fall into the ridiculous category.
Duane, you're a respected, and well-loved forum member. You don't have to constantly harass every aspect of this company to gain any favor. It is starting to look like something a little deeper than just a customer service issue for you.

I love P&C, I haven't really had any major issues, certainly nothing I couldn't forgive, especially since they give me such great deals as this most recent $50 off code.

I will admit that they are not perfect, but as far as I'm concerned they have made it right by me.

They have great sales and I order just as much off of them as I do smokingpipes.com, if not more!

To each his own, I guess! :puffy:

I'm with Duane on this one. Over two months with no reply to my Emails and messages. The coupon was a welcome surprize and gives me a sort of refund for my missing order, if it shows up. :roll:

See, I just don't believe that. I get quick responses to emails and they pick up my phone calls quickly. I've never experienced any of these issues.

Now, either you have some special aura about your contacts with P&C, and I am some sort of ultra-lucky guy, ...or something else is going on, because I just do not believe that when you call, they don't answer... and I can call and immediately have them pick it up.

What can we say the captain doesn't like P&C, Dunhill and Esoterica. Anything else I'm missing that he likes to complain about? :nana:

Me too :clap: I haven't ordered that much from P&C in the past as it's a hassle to have to pick up orders across the border. I've never had a problem with previous orders other than packing issues but I've never had a problem with any other vendors, U.S. or UK. This was a one time thing for me but it does leave a bit of doubt when considering whether to order again or not.

I've had orders from Chinese Ebay sellers that went astray but were resolved quickly and always got a response within one or two days. 8O

I realize everyone's experiences and perspectives are different, but I'm with Cosmic, it almost seems like some of you are dealing with a different company.

I contacted them only once by email and they responded to me right away.

If I have an issue, then I will usually call them and they are really polite, helpful and appreciative of my business.

On 2 different occasions (over the phone) they have even given me discount codes that I didn't know were active to get lower prices on my orders.

That's pretty good customer service in my opinion!

I will admit that their shipping is a little slower than SP and their packaging is not quite as good, but nothing I'm going to get ruffled about.

I do have one item (8oz. of Bulk Anniversary Kake) that's currently on backorder, but that's ok too, because I know that they will fill the order as soon as it is available, or I can easily call, cancel and get a refund.
