Many of these pipes are in the old British style, with silver embellishments and amber stems, and very often cased. I've seen several beautiful examples.

I'm not familiar with the brand/maker. What drew you to the pipe you purchased?
Here are the pics the seller used. The first thing that caught my attention was the shape, it’s very similar to an Orlik I own, which is probably my favourite pipe. I wasn’t familiar with the make either so doing a bit of research added to the joy of purchase. The price helped too. Lol

Ahi, in March I sold mine - four unsmoked and one smoked - to Greger from the Swedish Club. He collect them and have about 300 , so I thought they would go the right place.
glad to hear they went to a good home. I know they were sentimental pipes, not like your huybretch but still up there. Now I just need to figure out a way to trick you into parting with your orliks ?
