Found a Source for Block Meer Bowls for Falcon's

Sweet. I really want a meerschaum bowl for my Falcon. Turns out my Falcon had been stored in drawer with some potpourri for about 20 years. Everything tastes like flowers in it, lol.

Get a small cork and close up the bottom of the Falcon bowl. Put the bowl in an old spray can lid (the type with the small insert - it will keep the bowl upright) and do a salt/alcohol treatment. It might get rid of the flower taste. Good Luck!

As I patiently (yeah, right) await my bowl, I was wondering if those dry rings are a benefit or not. I've never owned a Falcon, Infact, I'm going to have to buy a stem soon. So what say you, does the Falcon (with a meer bowl) benefit from the dry rings? And, if so, are they just short lenths of pipe cleaner?

Never used the dry rings, but used a small piece of pipe cleaner. it closed up the draw.

You can finagle the rings or a piece of pipe cleaner to not obstruct the draw. Easier with a piece of pipe cleaner as it does not need to wrap all the way around the humidome. Just put a piece in and screw in the bowl and test the draw. If its restricted just repeat the process but move the cleaner around a bit.

I received my bowl today in Georgia. I will take some pictures of the bowl with pipe once I get home. I will say that it is more round than the A4 in picture, but I love it just the same.

Waiting for mine, patiently :roll:, glad they are going out, I use the rings & like them, but I like the balsa filters in Sav, I see all the crap they catch & need all the help I can get. As long as Rings & filters don't hamper my smoke on my Fishing/driving pipes, will use them.

Have a couple of regular pipes that I don't miss that crap in them.

@voorhees, funny how after you mentioned how the A4 was more round then the picture, as I went back to page one to see the difference I noticed that my A1 is completely different as well...
The A1 in the picture has a nice flat wide rim...for some reason my in rounded, didn't even click in till now, but big time different that's for sure. I mean it still really nice, but...

My A2 is rounded on top as well and I actually like it better than the original it has a nice finished look, the most important part for me is how it smokes and it smokes great.

Looks like an A5 to me.
Here are pics of mine. Sorry about the terrible pics. I will say that the threaded base and hardware finish is excellent. The bowl is also of excellent design and finish.

Yes there are some differences between what you have ordered and what you got for some of you.hopefully this minor differences will be fixed when we put the falcon products in our website.But besides everything the workmanship and quality of the bowls are great.
