This is so cool, I have always wanted a falcon but the unemployed budget dictates other necessities prior to tobacco and pipes. Now that there is meer bowls for the falcon, I'll have to be extra good and hope my better half surprises me during the coming holidays.

Finally, finally arrived:

The bowl is very light weight and of high quality craftsmanship. Originally I ordered a rusticated A6 to better much the bowl on this black Falcon Shillelagh, but like the case of some other members, the ordered shape and style is an approximation. Anyways, it's definitely worth the wait.
Highly recommended to acquire high quality Falcon meerschaum bowls in a bargained price!

Just got back from Bahadir / Meerqueen,

They actually replaced my original Meerschaum bowl because the first one was damaged after an unsuccessful delivery, returning from Germany to Turkey. And this is also the reason to take 3 months to complete. At the end they sent a new bowl and with the shipping free of charge to me again. They do show really good and prompt support.
Hope to hear from how forum members are doing with their old and new Meerschaum bowls for their Falcon pipes. :puffy:

I am enjoying mine quite a bit, enough that I thinking of ordering a second bowl. Keep an eye out at 4Noggins. They seem to get Meerqueen bowls on a semi regular basis.

Wow those are great looking pipes Menuhin. I love the all black and also the white stem. I just wished they had the falcon logos. :wink:

@mrenglish

I'm planning to order another one from Meerqueen already, to one of my Falcon bowls as well as to add to my Meerschaum bowl rotation, this Meerschaum bowl is of really high quality and delivers flavorful smoke.
@mikestanley

I feel that the Meerschaum bowl transformed my Falcon into a very classy poker pipe that is so handsome that I feel obliged to dress in a white suit if I am to appear smoking it in public.
@AntBauerS

These two stems with twisted design were made in the late 1960s till early 1970s and have no Falcon-head logo on top of the mouthpiece, and were totally out of production. They are called the 'Shillelagh' which in Irish / Gaelic means a club in certain region of Ireland. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shillelagh_%28club%29#History

Because of popular request, Falcon has re-issued these design as a limited edition, with the latest Falcon-head logo on top of the mouthpiece, and I recently discovered that they are available again on these two UK online retailers after quickly being sold out last year:

For the discontinued version, one can only wait them to emerge on Flea markets or buy them from this website with a higher price:

Sad they reproduced them, but only cuz I have one of the originals that is now no longer a collectible. Lol
Thanks for the info on Meer bowls, tho. :D
