There's this little antique shop right across the street from my barber. Usually I go early in the morning for a haircut and the antique shop is always closed, opens at noon. Today, the antique shop was open early. After my haircut I raced across the street and I asked the woman if she had any tobacco pipe related items. She had three pipes, a newer cob, an unmarked briar pipe and a Barling. I bought the Barling for $4.50...it needs work, for sure, which I'm not going to do. I'm going to pass it onto someone else who is interested in cleaning up. The shape that it's in is way out of my league.
