I went back and purchased the unmarked briar pipe for $4.50. The only markings on the entire pipe is STERLING on the band, no other stamping.

The stummel has a face on it.
Does anybody else see Baby Groot?

I haven't decided what to do with it. I'll probably give it away to someone who wants to clean it up. The stem is in bad shape.

Do you want to sell both pipes? I’m quite a bit late, but, color me intrigued.

Since the stem isn't original to the Barling, that gives you leeway to either have a Barling facsimile stem done or to have a stem exactly to your liking. Having a pro ream that pipe seems like a good idea, so it is done with a deft touch and not cored out, along with whatever other restoration it needs. Choice find.

It seems like you might get more out of it smoking it yourself than trying to resell it.

I gave the Barling to @mikethompson and he may have it for sale here on the forum.

As for the unmarked pipe...you can have it. If you're in the states, message me your address and I'll send it to you.
