I made it down to the Wurstfest a couple of times when the in-laws lived in NB. What a great area!

You Ulstermen will have the last laugh when you're exporting Genuine Six Counties Drinking Water to the rest of this soon-to-be parched planet!

Near Toronto, Ontario, Canada
My buddy out in Edmonton confirmed it: snow there this morning.
It will be here in southern Ontario soon enough. I have to get my piping in before that though - minus degree temperatures with an ice wind blowing in your face is not a pleasant pipe smoking atmosphere for me.

That snow is just a warning shot. It's there to let you know to enjoy the remaining sunny warm days because there aren't many left. When I lived in Alaska it was the fireweed that I kept an eye on all summer. When the top of the flower blooms (they start blooming at the bottom) it's a couple of weeks before the snow flies.

Having grown up in the north about 30 mins from the Canadian border where 2 feet of snow overnight was a given a few times each winter and now living in the south for the past

17 years as far south as Florida for 10 years and two years in Louisiana outside New Orleans and now seven years in NE Tennessee. I’ll take the snow when and if we get any over the blistering heat and drenching humidity. With Greek Italian heritage if I move I sweat a lot, no really a lot!! I figure I can only take so much clothes off legally to stay cool but you can put as much as you want on to stay warm!! Now if only my back and body agreed with my mind lol!! My back does not like the cold one bit!!

Here in the Ohio Valley, we are in one of the very best spots in the country to experience all four seasons, and I like it that way. I'm looking forward to flannel shirts, squirrel hunting, Halloween, the holidays, and burning the wood stove in my living room while smoking a briar full of English accompanied by a glass of whiskey.

Well, what can I say?

Here is our forecast. Heavy snowfall warning. I think we had autumn yesterday; the sun peaked out for a few minutes.

Hate seeing this today,60f with high winds and tiny rain all day long, the past summer was great, longing for those days of 85f with an average 70% humidity on our coastal area(Finland-south seashore) hate bundling up and changing the weather with possible rains each every day.

Willisk: I have a buddy of mine who's southern Bulgarian descendant, and whose living up here, I'm noticing he can withstand whatever like hot weather but no snow or anything colder than 50f..

Bloody hell Shikano!

Two weeks ago I begged the principal at one of my schools to let me use the only air conditioned classroom in the school because the previous week I had felt faint by the end of the 2 hour class!

Snow?

We haven't even started wearing jeans yet!
p.s. I'm in the Northern Hemisphere.

PacNW USA
I enjoy all the seasons. We’ve been having beautiful fall days in the Pacific NW USA. Sunny during the day and in the mid to upper 70s. No more forest fires smoke from Canada. I heard predictions for a hard winter, but I don’t recall the source. Maybe the Farmers Almanac ?
