That's nothing. You should have seen the humpback whales... or was it humping whales??? I don't remember... that cleaning fluid goes right to the head. All I know for certain is.... I had nothing to do with those dolphins the Cap'n found in my bed. I mean... that's just weird, man. Just, really really weird.

I must say, after dabbling with Black Frigate intermittently for two years it has officially moved to 4 stars for me. I don’t smoke a ton of Latakia blends anymore, but this one can be an all day smoke. The rum somehow mellows the Latakia very well. But the most striking feature imho is the excellent burn quality. This is a one light tobacco. No fuss. You could even tamp this with your finger and it would continue to burn well. I won’t cellar it deeply, but I would miss it if it disappeared.

Exactly. I like heavier latakia in some blends. But the amount used for the 'Frigate' is the perfect amount for the 'Frigate.'

Def concur there. Like perique when used by expert blenders. Not "too many notes" -- just enough to make it right, no more, & no less. The secret's in the crumbling.

Welcome to the crew ! I am also a recent Black Frigate member and i remember my first bowl of the stuff, i couldn't put it down. I found it to be very unique and so tasty. Even the after taste that it left in my mouth was so good, i wanted another bowl. It is truly a special blend IMO and its in my rotation. So glad i tried this one thanks to the fine gentleman of the Black Frigate Crew.
