I don't know how you were able to do that. One flake of Veermeister did me in today (they are fairly large). Was not pleasant at all. Probably a combo of that and heat exhausted. Wife said my face was pale white, and I was really feeling sick. I only told her it was the heat, lol.
I also did a fold and stuff for the first time, so maybe that was part of it. One flake filled a Savinelli Lumberman to the rim. Lasted over an hour. I usually rub flakes out, and it lasts about 20min. I should have stopped when I started feeling it, but my mind is on a situation right now I am trying to deal with, and I let myself take it all the way to embers. Won't be doing that again, lol.

Nothing worse - sugar helps, chocolate, soft drinks etc. Feeling it coming on and acting early helps alot
Three decades of using most tobacco products regularly and multiple pipefuls per day. It's the only time I've gotten a nic hit from a pipe. Now three years after the original post, HH Rustica doesn't affect me anymore either. I wouldn't have guessed Veermeister would cause any reaction, it's very mild and the Savinelli Lumberman pipes are fairly small.
