Well I’m getting my first filtered pipe, simply because it looked like a nice pipe. I’ll be using the Savinelli 6mm balsa filters, I’ll report back how it works out and tastes, and how nice it smokes without the filter too.

First time for me to try a filter pipe...

Now I’m sending back my filter Savinelli Spring Pot, didn’t like the pipe.

So no filters for me...

What diameter is a non filtered pipe? Can’t you just remove the filter and it smokes the same as a non filtered pipe?

Average between 3-4mm depending on manufacture.

I am sure it was done prior. I just have trouble sometimes finding old posts/subjects and often they are locked down for no further comments.

We have very strict rules here! When the moon is waxing, we discuss filters. When it is waning, we discuss cobs vs. briar. Latakia and/or perique is appropriate when Mars is north of the plane of the ecliptic. So now you know! ?

I exclusively smoke filters but... I managed to snag a handmade pipe from SederCraft and well, it doesn't have a filter. So I guess I don't always smoke filters anymore.
