One of my shooting buddies owns one. It’s really nice. Seems like a quality build. He calls it his Pasta 1911.Ash- what do you think of the EAA witness 45?

Because it hasn't been mentioned I will go Walther. My PPQ has been exceptional. The ergonomics on the Walther were far superior to Glock for my hands, ymmv. I just shoot it better. Also, the PPQ trigger is great for a striker fired pistol. Shit hits the fan, I grab the Walther. For other uses I have other preferences. For example, my Buckmark is my squirrel hunting favorite.
Man, Springfield’s still get no respect I tell ya
Yea, somebody should do a montage with Ruger, Springfield, Henry etal.?Man, Springfield’s still get no respect I tell ya
See, that’s what I mean.......XD’s get put in the same category as flintlocks. If I had feelings, they’d be hurt right nowYea, somebody should do a montage with Ruger, Springfield, Henry etal.?
Depends on the Springfield. I have an EMP 4 (1911 in 9 mm) that used to be my daily carry until I bought my edc x9Man, Springfield’s still get no respect I tell ya

Brad- what is the recoil like on those?View attachment 49282
This was the smallest .45 a long while ago, Star,pd been my companion a long time.
Pawn shop had a boxed one the other month, looked nice ?Not bad at all, I have small hands, recoil when wife shot it was manafpgeable, this pistol is not a target shooter as frames are the weak point, but for protection they are good.
Amen sir to all of the above! There are a lot of gun noobs out there lately due to a certain amount of disorder. Gun classes are swamped, and training is a must!
Don’t point the thing at anything you don’t want to kill.
Practice grip control.
Practice trigger control.
Always, always be aware of collateral ”damage”.
In order to do the above, I hope you can find some ammo!!
Excellent points. I’m fortunate to have stocked up on ammo and have been helping some friends at least meet the zombie apocalypse minimums. There are a lot of gun noobs out there lately due to a certain amount of disorder. Gun classes are swamped, and training is a must!
