You know, I could have done without the mention of homemade brownies. Keep those words to yourself ?Yes, that's normal for Kingsbridge. I like to think of it as the powdered sugar my grandmother used to sprinkle on home made brownies.
Also, my open Kingsbridge is much darker than that and the white powdery stuff is fairly ubiquitous.
Most of the yeas seem to have first hand experience, and I have to assume, are not dead.
That is a fair point, sir. But as with any good science, I will choose to bend the results to my desired outcome, regardless of any identified flaws in the observations.Of course, there might be a small publication bias in the fact that anyone who tried it and died is unlikely to post in the thread.
Well that looks pretty much identical to whats going on with my Kingsbridge. Feeling much more comfortable now. Although, while not dead, you two are pretty fuckin weird....2018 bag of Blackpool I just opened now.

And therein lies the rub . . . ??Although, while not dead, you two are pretty fuckin weird....
They seemed perfectly normal to me before they started smoking Ennerdale.Although, while not dead, you two are pretty fuckin weird....
I think the spots on the mylar is your big clue that this is organic growth, not crystals of whatever, which is not going to spring out of plastic. Could be mold, could be bacteria. Is it bad to smoke? I dunno.Hate to be the guy that posts another plume vs. mold thread, but I’m genuinely stumped. If I had to guess, I’d say it’s ok, but I’ve never seen plume look so white and spotty like this. Also the way the spots are on the inside of the mylar. Just....seems odd, but I don’t see anything that looks fuzzy or stringy.....more, sort of chalky?
Anyone out there have experience with 8oz bags of Kingsbridge? If so, does this look like normal sugar crystallization? Bag has been vacuum sealed for about a year before opening.

I has the same thought, thats why I mentioned it in the OP. But that bag @BROBS just opened is a dead ringer for mine as well. ?I think the spots on the mylar is your big clue that this is organic growth, not crystals of whatever, which is not going to spring out of plastic. I just think microbiologists on this forum are way too quick to come to a conclusion based on photos taken from squint level distance. That said, I'm not sure if they can make a proper ID from magnified pictures either.
Yes.It’s not goddamn mold!
Its the toppings flashing off and sticking to the surfaces.
