Pictures are required so those that have much knowledge of Dunhills can give the best advice.

A guy's first post and he's claiming to have a Dunhill (a brand with which he's unfamiliar) and wants to trade it for a Peterson.
Let's be careful with this one.

I am curious why everyone seems to be giving this new member a hard time instead of a warm welcome and an attempt to answer his question. @wingchun, I spent some time researching your pipe but cannot find anything that explains the name nina. There are several Dunhill historians on the site here though maybe they can help you. In the meantime welcome to the site. We are not typically a suspicious lot. Good luck on you hunt for information on your pipe.

Hey mate, welcome aboard. I didn't know what a Dunhill was until a few yrs ago and I have been smoking a pipe for 18yrs now, so do not feel bad about it. It will be very hard to help you with info without some pics to go by. Post some pics and I am sure some of our Members will be able to help you out.

Sorry... my bad. I think I got this particular suspicion-ball rolling
No worries mate, sometimes it is a good thing to be a bit skeptical. Time will tell and I am sure it has been checked out by the Mods. I am just looking forward to seeing the pics, I'll bet they will be very unique and a learning process for all of us.

I think it would be worth probably 3 Petersons. Post it up on Briarbid.com and see what it goes for!!

"I spent some time researching your pipe but cannot find anything that explains the name nina"
Piperl12, The Nina was one of the three ships Columbus used in his voyage. The others were The Pinta and The Santa Mara, which is the reason rothnh speculated that there were at least three pipes in the commemorative series.
I did a quick search on the internet and couldn't find anything on a Dunhill Columbus commemorative series.

The underlined 32 makes the pipe date 1992 (1960 + 32 = 1992)

A Root Briar pipe that is numbered 14 of 25 is most likely quite valuable. That date info matches what rothn said about the specialty set to commemorate the anniversary of Columbus discovering America. Any chance you have the box? That would be very desirable to a collector.
