Thanks to every one for helping me this is interesting to me,no box just the pipe,I do not know if I should keep it I could not ever afford to buy such a pipe if the seller new what it was he was selling

@wingchun the price will only go up by hanging on to it. Perhaps that will buy you enough time to understand its real value. In the meantime you have a beautiful pipe. Are you still training in Wing Chun? I have studied Hung Gar for the last 20 years first under Lore King Hung in Toronto and then under Robin Young. Where are you from?

I have studied martial arts for 29 years I have taught 18 I have studied wing chun in Hong Kong under Ip Chun,Guy Lai,Yung Kwok Wing and a few more I also teach San Da(SanShou) and Shuai Chiao under John Wang I have meet Chu Chi Ling actually in Hong Kong recently in November at a event for New Martial Hero Magazine he is a very nice and funny man very approachable I do not know if he is your same lineage though.

Seen this pipe, exact pictures up on ebay today. Guess it was just research

Just saw the pipe listed on Ebay. Anyone notice how lousy the fit and finish of the stem and shank is on that pipe? It looks like it is some kind of repair job to my eye.
