Well, as an update, I still have literally not seen a single video of this supposed "drone phenomenon" that haven't been identifiable as manned aircraft. Almost all of them are airliners. It's actually surprising considering drones do exist, and so by now I'm really surprised someone hasn't flown and filmed a few of them, and either modified the footage or filmed them in a way that they could look like what people are claiming. In my younger days, I'd probably be trolling these people very hard by now. You should see what I used to do to the chemtrail folks 😁.

But here's the thing - if any of this were real, there would be evidence. There would be some video of something that wasn't an airliner or a helo. If a thing is true, there is evidence. Always. And literally everyone has a video camera in their pocket these days.

But no. Just airliners. Even if MOST sightings were misidentification but a small percentage were of something real, then that small percentage of videos would also be of something real.

But still just manned aircraft. As Mover said, Idiocracy was supposed to be just a funny movie, not a how-to guide!

It's peculiar that the drone sighting have basically dropped from the news reporting...........
Not really. If they weren't really there in the first place (in the way the public was panicking about them) it's pretty inevitable people would figure out by now that the "drone" they saw yesterday actually flies over at roughly the same time every night, all lit up. 😁

I believe that the UFO phenomenon is a psychic phenomenon. The drones, or whatever they were, were very real to the observers.
I'm not sure I'd call them a " psychic" phenomenon. "Psychological", now, yeah.

I mean to flat earthers, the flat earth is very real too. But ... 😁.

But here's the thing - if any of this were real, there would be evidence.
Google it, there are literally thousands of videos. Some have actually been shot down, but the military immediately comes in and ropes off the downed drones. Pretty much, we can assume that these are US military drones. And, the military doesn’t want anyone to know.
If they are reading this thread… turn off the damned lights, ha ha.

Not trying to be contentious , but these people weren't seeing commercial/private planes . Unusual hovering for minutes . Erratic flight movements .
My guess would be a military contractor testing some kind of new technology . They were then figuratively " slapped up side the head " & told to cool it .

You should see what I used to do to the chemtrail folks 😁.

There are four ways that humans motivate themselves to wake up mornings and deal with the world ---

Denial

Delusion

Distraction

Drugs / Drinking

The chemtrail folks are solid number two-ers.

Along with flat Earthers, "dead talkers", astrologists, spoon-benders, clairvoyance, telepathy, astral projection, etc.

Changing their mind is impossible because such absurdities give their life meaning.

That's the thing - I know that's what people CLAIM to have seen. But then they show the video they took .. and it's an airliner. Every. Single. Time.

They seem to be susceptible to an illusion where they're seeing a string of larger aircraft on final as smaller and closer and moving in weird ways.

But this is never what the videos actually show.

I know there are thousands of videos, that's the point. I can't claim to have seen every single one obviously, but I've seen at least hundreds if not over a thousand at this point, literally. I look this up every day because it fascinates me. I follow several blogs and groups dedicated to it, and I chase down all the footage that's been on the news.

If any of this was as claimed, why are at least a percentage of these videos not showing the things people say they're seeing? I've literally not seen a single video of an actual UAS in these venues, which like I said is weird because they DO exist, they aren't some kind of black project. You can go buy a large drone tomorrow, no problem.

And yet... ALL the videos I've seen are normal aircraft? There isn't even a small percentage of the hundreds of videos I've watched that are anything other than normal aircraft? How does that make sense, unless that's actually what people are seeing?

And exactly right on your last point - it's some sort of secret or nefarious project, but they're gonna turn on their nav lights, beacons and strobes? (Not to mention logo lights that you can clearly see airline insignia in 😁.)

Oh, I am as cynical as you in this. I was just responding. Everyone on here was all “we are being spied on!” and I just didn’t want to step in that whole tar baby again, ha ha

I said the exact same things a couple of hundred posts back.

It made a 90 degree turn without banking! No, you rotated the camera 90 degrees.

The similarities between this and the 1950s UFO “flaps” are uncanny.

Ukraine, who has no navy, has sunk or put out of action one third of the Russian Black Sea Fleet and destroyed it as an effective fighting fleet,,,using cheap drones.

Exploding drones cost about $400, and they can take out a Russian tank.

The young lawyer that bought my office had a big drone about a yard wide sitting on my library table the other day.

I asked where to buy one of those and he said one of his clients built it, and he swapped race car parts for it.

Drones have a potential for great good.

But if you shut the lights off one nobody will see it coming in the dark.

Somebody will commit a terrible crime with one just for the attention.

And there’s no way to stop it.

If somebody wanted to really be evil with a drone in New Jersey it would be bigger news that it is.
