As you may recall, I used to have a wonderful German Shepherd who passed last year. We’ve always had GSD’s. It’s what I love, it’s what I know. Well, my wife wanted another dog that does shed as much so we ended up with this. His name is Buster and as near as I can tell he is half Labrador Retriever, half Looney Tunes character.

This is Quincy. He is a Lab/Mix and one of the sweetest dogs God ever made. He helped to mend my wife and my broken heart when we had to put down our much loved German Shepherd six years ago. He is the exact opposite of Max so we didn't have to compare the two. Quincy is 8 now and I hope we have many more years with him, because it will be a sad, sad day when he crosses the rainbow bridge.

Update: Our much loved Quincy crossed the rainbow bridge in April 2024. He was such a good dog. We miss him terribly. My wife had to have another dog so we now have a charcoal Labrador. She is salt and pepper and cuddles with my wife. Sleeps beside her. She loves to fetch and of course, do her zoomies. She is still in her puppy stage so taking her for a walk is her taking me for a pull. Dogs are wonderful members of the family.

Sorry to hear about Quincy, been thru that more times than I care to remember.. Dogs are without a doubt man's best friend. We have always had dogs with our current one being a GSP that we rescued at age 1, which was 9 years ago. Sad that their lives are so short.
