The last few seasons of Death in Paradise really dropped off for me, personally it was pretty unwatchable compared to the first 3 DIs, now I'm moved on to other Brit Murder series and Beyond Death in Paradise, Faye most likely agrees :D
Yeah, Ben Miller was the first and still the best DI in my book.

They def got weaker as they went. I do like Humphrey which is why Beyond Death in Paradise is pretty good, plus it's a current show i think they release the new episodes on Thursday so can't binge them all and be stuck in a couple weeks. Morse / Lewis / Endevour were all good series and Midsomer's Murders as well if you haven't seen them.

Maggie and Lily. English Bulldogs. Unbelievably lazy, but extremely lovable.

I love English Bully’s!! I’ve got an American Bully that has the same markings as your girl on the right in the pic, with the spot on her head and all! Great looking dogs!

I’ve got a Frenchie too, but someday I want to get and English for sure. Definitely my favorite breed.

happy birthday Lucy! Hard to believe it's been a year!
My two Basset hound pups (Bert and Dolly) both turned one this week (same father different mothers). We were not planning on getting two but the boss thought it would be good for them to have a friend. Indeed, they are very close and i love them both. Still, though, I now wish that one had a few years on the other so that they won't pass around the same time. However, since I am almost 70 I may well run out first! I cannot imagine life without a dog.

Riley a German Shorthair Pointer is 10 years old and is a hunting machine on pheasant or quail but in the house a gentle sweetheart.

Great portrait! Practically regal.
Growing up in the corn and soy fields of Illinois, we had labs for pheasant hunting. Don't recall any one talking about Quail.

And now I live in Quail Hollow- where there's no hunting allowed.

Hunting here in NJ is nothing like where you grew up. 50 years ago there were some native pheasant and quail but now its hunting on state wildlife mgt land where the pheasant and quail are stocked.

But if that's what ya got you then make the best of it. I'm retired so I usually go out in the afternoons when you basically have the place to yourselves and it is enjoyable. And about midway I do sit in one of my many favorite spots and really enjoy a pipe. puffy
