Just joined the forum, still need to do an intro but saw this thread and had this on my camera roll. This is Duncan, we adopted him about a month a go. He's a 5 month old lab/pointer mix and loves walking the trails every morning while I enjoy some EMP.

I was finishing up some housework this weekend & having a smoke when I remembered a project I kept back burner-ing. I had a leather leash that the hand loop had given given out on. So I cut a length off, punched a couple of holes in it, & attached some snaps. Viola! A pipe rest! I used to walk my hound with it so it’s like we get to hang on the porch again.

Sorry for your loss. Such a tough time. For some of us, a dog gives companionship that no human can give.

I adopted this 1 year old Black Lab from a Rescue about 4 months ago. This was the first time that I have gone the adoption route. She was slated for the pink juice. Her name is Wren. Calm most of the time but full of life and the sweetest dog! Loves to roam my property and she keeps the critters in check.

Reminds me of my lab, Hector, also a rescue at about a year. Now almost 13, he's been a joy for everyone in my family.
