I dedicate lighters most definitely. Whichever lighter is closest at hand when I need to light my pipe is dedicated to that lighting session. Doesn't matter whether it is a IM Corona or a Bic.
Although the different means to light the pipe are certainly variable, and although I changed to different methods as well, matches to a lighter, back to matches from a lighter, one lighter to another, my changes were more about practicalities of cost or effectivity; and even more so in the post above.

But why am I taking this seriously when the OP's tone is absurd?

I find dedicating a lighter for this or that as super funny stuff. You can go nuts with "dedicated" this and that.

"I dedicate the right side of my mouth to english blends only and the left side to aromatics....... but I have to be facing south, standing on one leg, with one eye closed otherwise I can't enjoy the smoke.......".

I am not sensitive enough to even dedicate one pipe to certain type of blends. I suppose if pipe smokers didn't obsess on things like "dedicating" certain paraphernalia in order to enjoy, we would be cigarette smokers.
