Do you Smoke Right handed or Left handed?

That's probably a dumb question. I only smoke while sitting and so I don't clinch. While I am right hand dominant, I mostly smoke left handed. Why? I have discovered that I taste better with the left side of my tongue. Am I alone in that oddity?

I clench from either side, switching occasionally while smoking. When I do decide to hold the pipe, it can be with either hand. I haven't noticed a preference.

I clinch and shift sides from time to time. Easier on the tongue.

I clench a lot of the time and mostly on the right side, but occasionally on the left.
Most of the time I hold a pipe with my right hand if and when I do hold one. When tamping I will hold the pipe in my left hand.

I don't clench too often. Depending on what I'm doing, I use my right or left hand. I tend to switch back and forth a lot while I'm sitting. If I'm standing and doing something, I tend to use my left hand so that my dominate right hand is free.

I’m a dedicated left handed human. I’m not one of the weirdo ambidextrous types, although it’s 2021 and we’re not supposed to talk about that.

Having said that, my pipe hangs out of the right side of my skull 95% of the time.

I light and tamp with my left hand because I don’t want to light myself on fire or poke my eyes out.

I mostly sit down, relax, and don't clench.
I use both hands, but predominantly the left since I tamp and light with my right hand.

This bring to mind how awkward it is when you are in a slow smoking contest that says that you can only tamp while the pipe is in your clench. I don't understand why some contests do that, but it is the most unnatural way to tamp ever.
Thankfully most of these contests use an aromatic, so that keeps me uninterested to try them again. no prize is worth having to suffer through a bowl of 1Q, IMO.

Right handed but I hold the pipe in my left hand. Maybe because I use my dominant hand to light the pipe.

I vary from one side of the mouth to the other and from one hand to the other. A lot depends on how I'm sitting. If I'm leaning one way or the other. I guess if I sat properly it would make a difference, but when you get older you lean.

Same. The pipe always ends up clenched on the right side of my teeth, and I have to remember to move it to the left occasionally.

Born right handed. Self taught ambidextrous. Hold with left hand only while lighting. Clench on right side preferably, but will switch during the smoke. Otherwise I always use the right hand to grab it, if talking or using the pipe to point.
