If it snows here Friday, I may have to start believing in climate change...

These are tomatoes on my kitchen counter from my own garden... No greenhouse or any kind of protection.

We had a mild autumn and I had late tomatoes.
If I hadn't have been so lazy in the heat of the summer, I could have planted for an AWESOME autumn harvest with the weather we ended up having.

Me too.

These plants died in the summer heat and kicked back up as soon as fall hit.

Edited to add:

I don't remember ever seeing them die and come back like that.

I do like it, but in reasonable doses and spread out a bit. About a decade ago we had a lot of snow in a short amount of time kicked off by one large snowfall. I don't mind moving it and all, but it's tough when you just can't find anywhere to put it after awhile. I do prefer snow removal to most summer yardwork. Of course this is all subject to change as I age.

I've always worked mostly outdoors, brutal winters working out in the cold and snow made me move south. Now I suffer from intense heat in the summer but rest of year is great. It's been cold here this week getting down to 31 at night. Haven't got to smoke as much this week. Wife shut down my request to smoke inside instantly. 😆

Do you like snow?
I like it very much on top of mountains where it belongs. Not so much in the driveway and street mainly because around here they pre-apply saline solution that rots out brake shoes and undersides of cars even though everyone stays inside until the streets are plowed. Blizzards are fun if you've had time to buy all the milk and bread in the county (cray) ... but I really prefer snow hurricanes ... with lightening and that runaway locomotive sound ...

As a kid I loved it, because it usually meant no school, or a two hour late start if there was school. As kids we would take our sleds up the street and go sledding down the street it was great. We also had a large field next to the local school that had a huge hill that we would go sledding down too. So many great memories.

As an I adult I love it, because it usually means no school, and sometimes I get to stay home from work, so on those days we take advantage of it and have a family fun day of sledding with the kids. Lots of great memories there too. I also love waking up to the ground all white, as everything around us looks so beautiful and peaceful.

The part that sucks is that our snow usually turns to ice after a day or so, which makes it a pain to drive anywhere. Dry powder snow is great, but wet snow and snow that eventually becomes ice sucks! What also sucks is our driveway has a slope to it, so when it snows I have to shovel the driveway. That's no fun either, so as an adult its more of a love/hate thing. LOL
