I was a lurker for a while because everyone seemed more knowledgeable and had a better understanding of flavors than me. I was on a smaller, different site for a while but it seemed to become a private chat room for 8 or so people. Didn’t feel like a forum anymore. That’s why I started looking around and found this place, which I enjoy.

I don't mind that many of these lurkers basically watch us like a sitcom, actually, maybe we could use this thread to become more entertaining by developing new plot lines, forum romances and even add some catch phrases like whatacha talkin about Warren? or everytime @anotherbob enters a thread someone could say anotherbob, where are your pants?! (audience laughs)
I was going to vote for something a little more absurdist then that. I was thinking more Vic Reeves/ Bob Mortimer type sitcom.
I think we go big for the pilot. One of the sub plots Warren gets in trouble for killing the last Alaskan Yeti and has to go to Tibet (the Yetis trick him there somehow) and after shaving him and eating his hair they determine that he was trying to kill his super hairy neighbor. You know I say we go for the philosophy that if it's funny wonderful but we gotta keep people glued to the screen and perplexing and making them go wtf wth over and over is frankly the best option we have at this budget. And also a running theme of people trying to shame embers in hyper hypocritical ways. He's minding his business at work and we hear servant king tell him that mustaches are stupid and only big stupid heads have them, then embers shakes his head as if to say "of all the days I forget to grab the hand and half sword" the camera pans to show king with a glorious and silly over sized Tom Selleck.....
All right you go get the sponsors in order and the rest of us will make a show that will go now where until the youngest of us are all in nursing homes and then it will be the surprise hit of that decade.
I am on board with a few minor tweaks.

Not sure this is true.
you know it's funny I think that when people say that too. I don't know though he might just actually mean it. With Embers its when he says he doesn't like socializing I think he means he doesn't really like people and wishes he could snuff the few little embers of that want. But I could be wrong but he doesn't care so....

No. Mostly because I don't really care what people think about me. I had a sensitivity training late last year. When the "instructor" asked me what I thought as a white man if her as a black woman had preconceived opinions about me before we met. My first reply was "Oh you mean prejudice?" She then nodded her head. " I said I don't care. after the next hour of this class I will most likely never see you again. I don't care what you think about me I have better things to think about." Which is a very healthy thing in my mind. I will maybe meet some of you at pipe shows and the like. Otherwise you are merely words and the occasional pictures on a screen. I won't go out of my way to offend you. I care more about what people in my life think about me.
