My second - there’s some I enjoy quite a bit that are a bit moist and sticky but I let them dry some. And many come ready to go. Probably 2/1 ratio for me of aros to others.
I mostly smoke aromatics and straight orientals these days.My second - there’s some I enjoy quite a bit that are a bit moist and sticky but I let them dry some. And many come ready to go. Probably 2/1 ratio for me of aros to others.
Yes, yes I have. Not the proudest moment in my life.Ever smoke banana peels?
I've always wondered how many "I hate aromtics" are secretly sitting by themselves and enjoying a good aromatic smoke. Not at all. Without them, pipe tobacco sells wouldn't be lucrative enough to keep the business alive.
Nope. They don't smoke because they don't see pipe smoking as feminine enough.Yeah, they're the same ones who are winning all of the women's sporting events.
I miss the Drew Estate blends. Grand Central and Central Park Stroll were my favorite of the aromatics. For me, it's a mix, like with most other things. My favorite blender, Drew Estate, though they were active for a very short time, of the eight blends they put out, six were aromatics that verged on goopy, but never truly qualified as such IMHO.

No, that makes them burn too hot; better to slow sip them for optimum flavor.Do aromatics suck?
I stand corrected?Wasn't about pipe smoking...my comment was a reply to the Virginia Slims comment.
Or they've been spoiled by the ease of smoking non aromatics and condemn flavored tobacco for needing the extra effort.I've always wondered how many "I hate aromtics" are secretly sitting by themselves and enjoying a good aromatic smoke.
