David Lynch Dies Aged 78

Loved Blue Velvet and especially The Elephant Man. He announced last year that he'd been diagnosed with emphysema and it was causing him a lot of problems so it wouldn't surprise me if it was something to do with that.

Whenever I saw him interviewed he came across as a complete one off.

Very sorry to hear this. He was a true original. Nothing quite like Twin Peaks or films such as Lost Highway, Mullholland Drive, Inland Empire, and the rest.

Sad to think we'll never see any more from him. It was reported he was about to start a new project back when the plandemic hit, which sidelined it. Damn shame.

Rip. Definitely one of a kind. Twin Peaks was so damn good. I really need to give Dune another chance. I watched that when I was a kid and couldn’t wrap my head around it.

I could listen to the guy all day. It wasn't just what he said, it was the way he said it, as well.

The fact he agreed to do his own voice work for a cameo in Family Guy shows you he wasn't pompous or afraid to poke fun at himself. It's only about 30 seconds long but it's the best bit in the episode.
