They mentioned it on their FB page already as well. Wouldn't say when it was coming out though. Sneaky little.......

Someone had posted a recipe for rum soaked Perique, with Virginia and dark fired Kentucky. I made some using burley instead of dark fired, and it isn't something I could smoke every day as my nicotine tolerance is not high enough. But I can't wait to try "The Beast". That being said, it would have to be in a VERY small pipe, lol.

Not exactly the most original slogan created, but I think I'll look for it when it comes out! The blend sounds like a good one.

Great interview.
I don’t necessarily think of Small Batch as a way to test the waters for large scale production, but rather a way for us to be creative and try new things without having to commit to a blend that may be too niche to produce on a more permanent basis.
The C&D line is quite large already, so this model gives us more freedom to try things that might be be difficult in regular production or to use special ingredients that are in limited supply.
I think that's just brilliant -- more new stuff for us pipe smokers to try.

Love this story as told by Israel Regardie:
Crowley would smoke a smelly bowl of rum-soaked perique, while playing two games of chess at the same time, facing away from the boards and the players.

How kind, the Beast seems to be produced in April, the month The Book of the Law was received.
