I told you, it's great DGT'D. Yes Coamic, those nutty burleys do come out, To much expectation with the first bowl, running over into the second and third. By the time I had my fourth and fifth The Beast began to sing. Bitch Sing, Beast Sing. You nasty Rumper you.

Well back on topic. I received a sample in the mail yesterday. I typed up a nice review but since I'm at work I don't have it on me anyway. The beast was a very earthy almost mushroom like smoke with a hint of sweetness.the nic was noticeable but didn't beat me over the head with a 2x4 ala Brown bogie. Overall it was good and plan to make my own version next tad order.

Happy Brown Bogie/Brown Twist Sliced is a Nicotine shillelagh. To mellow it out, mix it with a gentle Burley blend like Old Joe Krantz. It also burns better this way without drying.

With regards to the lids that won't stay on the tin, I bought a bunch of Straight Up English and noticed the same thing!
Weird.

I remember Greg Pease saying something about their lid sizes helping his blends stay moist in a popped tin, but I cannot get the lids to even stay on. It sort of irritates me to have to use a jar for something I paid to have in a tin. I tried hot water, but maybe I need to boil them or something. Either way, lids should fit. One more strike against them. My other C&D blends and GLP tins have lids that work. It's a small thing, I know. Just weird. :puffy:
