I know this thread is years old but it's how I found the site. I recently started smoking a pipe after years with cigars. I'm hoping to learn some of the best places to find pipes or tobacco in Connecticut. I live in Hamden. The Owl Shop in New Haven isn't always convenient and my usual cigar shop in North Haven doesn't cater to the pipe crowd.
Searches on Yelp usually turn up a bunch of vape shops or tobacco shops that sell more lottery tickets and pot pipes than what I'm looking for.
I'd like to find a place that has somebody to talk with and lets you enjoy a smoke. Honestly, I'm still not even sure if I'm smoking right. YouTube only helps so much.
