This is gonna be a good one. ?☕
Right! I was really excited to find this H&B cob. Very little cake buildup in the bowl. A little bit of cleaning of the stem is required. And some minor cleanup of the rim of the bowl. I only had to get $15 for it. I thought that was a good deal.
You’re gonna see this baby on “what are you smoking“ in the near future.

You’ll really know how much you love it when you put it up next to one of your favorite briars & have to make a choice of which one has to go. ?☕
If forced to choose, I would pick that cob over every pipe I own save one. It smokes so cool and is extremely comfortable. Plus for a newb I never have to relight it!

Here’s one for all y’all who think of cobs as short-lived and disposable.

Missouri Meerschaum from the 1950’s which sold for under 40 cents, found in a closet on Vinalhaven, unsmoked. Along with clay Jamestown style pipes, haven’t figured out how to smoke with these without overheating the leaf. The closest to a delicious smoke I’ve gotten with this deep chamber has require almost no tamp and very light flame.
