Being someone who thinks politics is ALL bullshit, it is tough to talk to people, because everyone has all of these triggers, and if you step on them, they attack me as being "on the other side", which has made us dumb as rocks as a nation. We got dumbasses who identify as cats, people who think it makes them look smart to hate smart people, and shouting down anyone whom they think is on the other side is how we communicate. The premise is that the climate is changing. No one in the thread said it was man made, but that the climate is changing. The retorts I've seen in this thread are so.... whatever, that people have actually made the argument that the climate is not changing because it is always changing and always has. How dumb is that! You assume that because the two words are in that order that the OP is making an accusation about mankind's role in it. But, if you had actually read the words in the order they were written and followed the Alice in Wonderland idiocrasy of responses, you'd see this.So... when a question is framed with a premise, we are to automatically accept the truth of a premise, and discuss? Would that make you happy?
