Was going to say, I just smoked some that I purchased last year (no production date on the tin, so I labeled it '2022') and it is a crumble kake. I suppose you brought it out as a prop for the photo, but it caught me off guard. Thanks for the clarification.

I found that if I just broke off chunks and crumbled them up, there would sometimes be large leaf bits that interfered with getting an even light. At least if I slice it up, I can be sure those bigger bits will turn into ribbons.

Kind of annoying to have to go through extra steps with this stuff, but I like smoking it!

Update: I've now tried the Gawith Dark Plug and found myself packed snugly in a nicotine-induced oasis of campfire heaven. Thanks to @smudgersmissingleg @renfield @canucklehead @BorealPiper for a splendid recommendation!
