It would be nice to go to a Chicago show but the original announcement was sketchy to say the least. ll it had was what Winston told us and that was next to nothing.
Questions:
1) Where the hell is Lincolnshire?? Looks way north of Chicago.
2) What's the best way to get??
3) What's the smoking Situation??
4) Will there be a smoking tent??
5) Room Rates?? Discounts??
6) Will there be a Friday sale for vendors??
7) Etc, etc, etc??
Please try to have a bit of patience with this. The contract negotiation process was lengthy and with a new venue, plus the likely impact of COVID-19 on attendance, we're not on cruise control as in the past. Details will be shared as soon as they have been decided upon. We felt it was important to at least announce the fact that a show is happening and what we know at this point, which is when and where. At least this way, folks can get going on making time in their calendars and even booking flights.

Lincolnshire is north and west of Chicago, about a 30 minute drive from O'Hare Airport.

Rooms are $159/night for king and $169 for two double beds, plus tax. I cannot stress strongly enough how important it is for the continued health of the show to stay at the Marriott and that you book using the method which should be communicated shortly.

Entry fees will continue to be a huge bargain, but there may need to be some minor adjustments.

As shared previously, there will be a sizeable smoking tent, but the resort absolutely will not allow smoking elsewhere, including the rooms.

What sort of guidance are you looking for in terms of best way to get there? You mean from the airport?

Much of the schedule is still progressing. We have had nothing but an up hill struggle, so much of our efforts have been a bit more focused there.

Lincolnshire, Illinois is Northwest of Chicago proper and about 45 minutes from O'Hare airport.

Is there a flyer to help spread the message on social media?

Has the website been updated with the details above?

I expect that a flyer will be published this week and shared on the website, pending final revisions.

I am really looking forward to going to the show. I am fairly new to the pipe scene and only live 15 minutes from Lincolnshire. We used to go to the Marriott bar for happy hour after work and I recall an excellent Honey Beer that was brewed locally on tap.
