I know Tony Soderman's daughter will be in Chicago sell his pipe collection.
Didn't I read about some sort of a time capsule? That Tony want his collection preserved and not sold?

Sorry, I do not. But may I suggest a must visit to Iwan Ries while in the Chicago area? One of the great US pipe stores. Where else are you going? Perhaps others can share some ideas. I am in the SF Bay area if you're headed West.

Does anyone from the Chicago club know if the additional smoking venue (the former owner's suite at the end of the Golf Wing) will be available again this year?

Has there been an update with a little more detail yet; thinking what and when are the seminars, information on Father the Flame release etc.
Getting excited and would love to start mapping out the week!

More information coming very soon! I can answer the question about additional smoking venues. Pheasant Run has no choice, per IL law, that there is no smoking indoors. They have overlooked things in the past, but can't anymore. You can smoke in the tent and if you are at least 15 feet from the building. (Don't try this if you are on the 6th floor.)
The tent vendor will start building the floor on Monday, so the tent will officially open Wednesday. I will be there when it opens. Can't wait to meet you guys. Look for me. I am tall, bald, with a white/grey beard. I probably will have a pipe in my mouth.

So I'm looking for myself. :)
It was funny last year. My friend went out to the smoking tent while I was in the show and said that when he came back that he thought I'd be easy to find... big, tall guy, bald, with a beard; but to his surprise that was more than half the crowd. He eventually found me, but it wasn't like finding me in a mall or something like that. :)

It will be somewhere between roasting and freezing. It is way too early to tell. There was frost in my yard yesterday morning and pleasant in the afternoon. Wait until it gets close. If it is really cold, there is a Wal-Mart practically across the street, to buy a sweatshirt.
