Now that it's getting colder a lot of spiders like to visit me at home, I used to fill jars with soil and what not to keep a few of them, now I just put them back outside. I mostly get these little buggers to visit me, the females can get quite chunky. For local spiders anyway.

That's what I thought as well but the inspector expressed concern over the size in their reply.
The Queen hornet is usually larger in size and goes on solo missions to establish a new nest.
Yesterday, I had a few fly byes of several really large hornets. Approximately 1 1/2" in length. I'll bring a jar with me while I'm back outside today. Maybe I can catch one or at least snap a pic..
