I like this post because the hobbit pieces was funny, but $15 bucks for 50g is crazy cheap. That tin would cost you either a medium beaver pelt, or 5 lbs of pemmican in Canada. I heard in NZ, you're only allowed one tin in your life because they enter you on a list for when someone needs a kidney.
Beaver pelts I have! Frog skins a plenty!

Not six gallons of maple syrup and an ounce of powdered moose antler?

I too have balked at the price. I’m sure it’s good, but yeah a little too pricey for me.

Elk antler velvet powder, actually. There's an elk farm about 2 mins drive from my house. Chinese people pay a lot for it so it's a valuable trade item.

Ive often wondered the same thing about Three Nuns. But yea relatively speaking its expensive but in absolute terms its still quite cheap.
