The old Peterson’s Irish Flake was the blend that probably kept me from quitting pipes when I first started. It was the first non-aromatic I smoked, and was that “eureka” moment for me. I wouldn’t recommend it to someone who’s never had strong tobacco like cigars or snuff, but since you smoke cigars, it would probably be a good one for you. The current version is a bit milder (I liked the old one better), but I would still recommend it. Strong Burleys and dark fired Kentucky will probably be safe bets if you’re looking for that spicy “pure tobacco” taste.
thanks country boy

Welcome from the Central Coast of California! Ask any question, make any observation….

You can put your location in your Profile—(please!—because people will forget!) and which will save questions in the future as to where you live when you later mention local stores, weather, tobacco prices, availability, regulations, location of photos, etc., etc..
Under your avatar, (top right, left most of three symbols) you choose "Account Details", which brings up "My Account". "My Location" is halfway down. Whatever you're comfortable with- town, city, county, state.

if you want cherry, try Blood Red Moon. If you want to try English blend, go with something mild so you don't get shock to the system with latakia. Early Morning Pipe is good. Red Rapparee is also good. Any GLP blends are good.
