I did have a sample bowl of each of the STP blends. I won't go into detail but I will say that I really enjoyed each blend very much. I think you guys will be very pleased with them. I didn't try any of the stuff Chris or Neil sent yet. I'll wait for the box to come back around.

The box arrived safe and sound on Saturday. I was finally able to open it up this evening.

I haven't tried anything yet, but there's only about 35 blends to pick from so it'll be easy to choose. 8O There's so much great looking stuff in there.

We're going to have to step up our smoking efforts. 

Spare time is in short supply this week but I will really try to up my effort lol.
I fired up some John Cotton 1&2 last night...lots of latakia in that one. Too much for this cowboy, but if you like lat, it's a must try. My understanding is John Cottons Smyrna and Bengal Slices have more latakia so I'll leave those for now and look in the Virginia bag next.

Yup, the Smyrna and Bengal have more Latakia than the 1&2. I'd suggest that you try the No.1, though, as that has but a condiment's worth of Latakia, keeping the Virginia and oriental/Turkish out front.

Yup, the Smyrna and Bengal have more Latakia than the 1&2.

I enjoyed them all very much but the Bengal Slices were amazingly delicious. :D
