@BROBS I personally think all of the Old Ones series of blends taste like a smoldering pile of piss-soaked garbage... but everything else is quite delectable ?

So far the one thing C&D produced I can somewhat tolerate is penny farthing.. however I really don't taste much of the dark fired in it or anything.. tastes a bit monochromatic.

The Carolina red flake gave me novicaine mouth feel.. really odd. The tin note is good though!

Bummer! But I get what you are saying. The more I smoke it the less I enjoy it. I have an unopened tin of it and I'll keep it for trade or gifts. Pegasus and VA Gentleman are holding up for me though.

I look forward to trying those!! I do like the Penny Farthing I just struggle for the flavor. I should try it as a first smoke of the day.

And I do appreciate the samples!! Without them I would never try it.

Ditto. Not so much Bill (I'm more of a Kerouac guy, but not a huge beat fan in general) but HST is an all time favorite. Can you imagine the writing he would be producing today in our current political climate? It would either be pure comical genius, or he would kill himself all over again, haha.
