I remember at the Chicago Show when Iwan Ries had that pile of McClelland for sale. I saw the line to buy and said no Thanks and continued checking the tables.
I felt good though leaving it for people who really enjoyed their blends. They had a tin limit but I cant remember what it was...

C&D Carolina Red Flake has been quite good and I think will be great with age. I really like Sun Bear a lot, will buy more when it comes out again.
Did you like Sansepolcro? I really liked that one. That one is supposed to come out again from what I heard.

You think it's all marketing hype? Perhaps there was a limited quantity of 18 year old perique. C&D has made many special releases under their name and others that have been very good. You'd be well served to not overlook them.
Yes. I like it as well. I believe it came out in the past, maybe 2016? I also really liked the Savinelli 140th. For some reason, I think C&D made that one.
Sansepolcro is my favorite thusfar. Looking forward to these blends.

I dislike this blend
This is a terrible blend. Try not buying any more when/if it ever becomes available. It is so bad in fact that I will purchase as much as I can the next available opportunity, simply to help any and all with the dilemma of disappointment.
Huh. Dunno, just saw it and bought a few tins when it first became available. Guess timing is everything. Went back and bought more of it later on, and added more when the final shipment of it, which I knew about in advance, showed up. I think I still have about 30 tins of it, so I'm set. It's about as fine a McClelland red Virginia as I've smoked.
I bought 10 on the release date and when the second shipment arrived a few weeks later I picked up 20 more. Without specifics, Mike said it may be a good idea to buy it if I liked it in September of that year so I picked up 10 more.
Yep. With Mike telling me that plus the discontinuation of 5100, I smelled something was off so I started buying up McClelland blends.?
I doubt I’ll ever get to smoke all of my 500 or so Mcclelland tins. They were all bought before anyone had any idea they’d be going out of business. I just happened to think they made some fine blends
