I learned something from this thread. I learned that what I consider normal, waking at 5AM and hitting the hay at 2AM is not close to being normal. I need sleep meds, apparently. The Irish Whiskey isn't doing the job. I have yet to miss a release I am interested in and have the money for (oh I may have complained but reality is reality) .... Maybe I should offer a late night release buying service. :)

I sleep from 9 AM to 12 PM.

Don't worry, someone here will be offering the bricks for $200 each a week from now.

I don't trust anyone that gives 1 star reviews let alone the age thing.
Fancy reading all that marketing, in-depth blend info etc.. and then going to all the trouble of buying a whole pound brick (and before it sells out fast) of a blend he obviously didn't like in the first place.

I'm not a C&D fan-boy or nothing, but I just can't see how they would deserve a 1 star review, especially in their small batch releases.

I don’t trust anyone who doesn’t understand the phrase “age when smoked” when referring to tobacco.View attachment 125984
I saw that review when it was his very first. It's like he created a tobaccoreviews.com account just to be a curmudgeon about this tobacco. Of course, any reviews are purely for posterity since there is no way to go and buy some if the reviews are good. (All due respect to the great @jiminks of course.)

It's virtually a one pound cake of Mad Fiddler Flake.
I don't see this. The components are quite different. (No black cavendish and orientals in Folklore, and no DFK in MFF; maybe the VA, perique and kasturi components make them smoke very similarly?) I'm curious to hear a side-by-side comparison, if you care to give one.

Folklore has black cavendish in it and no Orientals in Mad Fiddler. Close enough for me.

I was going off the ingredients listed on SP.com. There they include Orientals in Mad Fiddler. I don’t know why there’d be a difference between SP and TobaccoReviews though it wouldn’t be the first time there was a discrepancy like that.
