This sort of grift is rampant in the knife collecting world. There's even FB groups devoted to outing the scammers.

Good advice in this thread. Always check to see how many posts a person has, etc. etc.

The person who started this may have been deleted by me or another mod for reasons unrelated to the scam. I don't think anyone but us can delete posts; messages are another matter.
